This stunning project involved capturing the transformation of an 18th-century grand salon into a modern kitchen while preserving its historical charm. The kitchen, designed for renowned designer Ashton Taylor-Smith in his Robert Adam-designed country house, features Georgian-inspired cabinetry with a majestic broken pediment, a Neo-Classical marble fireplace, and a bespoke island with concealed appliances. The design balances functionality and elegance, complemented by intricate details such as fluted glass, hand-painted cabinetry, and a high marble splashback set against Zardi & Zardi’s Chinoiserie wallpaper.A perfect blend of history and modernity, this project showcases the seamless integration of architectural heritage with contemporary design.
