I’m Mark Hardy, an architectural and interiors photographer working primarily with country houses, designers, and developers across the South East of Engalnd.

For over 18 years, my work has focused on photographing spaces in a way that feels settled, balanced and honest.

Rather than treating rooms as individual scenes, I look at how light, proportion, colour and material work together to create a sense of coherence and atmosphere.

Much of my work involves homes with history, layered detailing, or complex renovations, where restraint and judgement matter as much as technical skill. My role is not simply to record a space, but to understand its character and photograph it in a way that feels appropriate to how it is lived in and used.

I work closely with a small number of regular clients and private home owners who value care, clarity and collaboration. Projects are approached thoughtfully and without haste, allowing the finished images to feel considered rather than constructed.
